Hot Diggity, a boutique for dogs, was inspired by the unbelievable amount of love we had for our Goldens, Bailey & Chase. We searched all over for high quality dog products including unique collars and leashes, interactive & tough toys, organic, all-natural and raw food options as well as some tasty, healthy and safe gourmet treats for our pals. We had a hard time however finding what we were looking for, so we decided to create a place where pampered pups would find everything they and their owners could ever want.
When visiting Hot Diggity you will find everything from nautical collars and leashes to luxurious beds, organic toys, all natural food and gourmet bakery treats. We take pride in the customer service we offer and hope that your dog will accompany you the next time you visit Hot Diggity.
We are happy to be celebrating our 6th year in business, and our 4th year at our current location on North Street in Mashpee Commons.
If you saw something at Hot Diggity that you don't see at our online store, please feel free to call us and we will be happy to process your order over the phone. Additionally, if there is anything you think we should carry that we don't, please let us know! We are always bringing in new items at the suggestions of our loyal customers.
Winnie is the assistant manager to her mom, Ashley, who is the manager. Winnie is a Hush Basset (Basset Hound Cocker Spaniel cross). She loves to play, play, play! She loves when her friends stop by the store so she can take a break and play some more. Her favorite task at work is filling the treat barrels. She's more than happy to sample any treats for customers! She is a true mamma's girl and likes to be decked out in the latest doggie fashions. She LOVES marrow bones, the dog dizzy, and her squeaky designer shoes and handbags.
Only a lucky few will get to see Chase at Hot Diggity. He is like the Phantom Gourmet of Dogs. Sometimes he is there, most often he is not. Chase has the energy of a pup, despite just celebrating his 12th birthday. Chase most often works for Chase Landscape, Inc., which was our first endeavor. Chase Landscape will celebrate its 12th year in business in 2010. So yes, if you do the math, the dog was not named after the business, but the business after the dog. Chase's current favorite toy is anything that will sail smoothly and even not so smoothly through the air, including the water wubba, the orbee ball and the good ol' tennis ball. He thinks my favorite toy is the chuck-it as he is always bringing it to me to play with him. Chase's favorite treats are bully sticks and he is currently thriving on the BRAVO raw diet.
Cooper is a gentle soul in a giant body and has decided after 2 years of working as the assistant manager, that he would resign and allow Winnie to step in. Cooper now happily spends his days frolicking outside with his pals Daisy and The Dude. He was lovingly rescued from a shelter in Tennessee by his mom Ashley. His favorite toys are Bailey's Bees and his favorite treat is anything edible. He is lucky that his mom is the manager of the store because it provides him with a variety of dinners from Honest Kitchen, to Wolf King to his current favorite, Natural Planet Organics.
Trix was the newest member to join the Hot Diggity pack until his favorite playmate came to live with my mom (See Gladys). He loves all his co-workers and he especially loves sampling all the products. Trix can sometimes be found at the Saturday Morning Socials and by chance at Hot Diggity, though usually on Tuesday and Thursday mornings after his agility classes. Trix gives his seal of approval to anything edible and even to those things that are inedible. He loves to play with the busy ball, any of the canine geniuses, and LOVES to chew on the deer antlers. Trix currently is enjoying the same Stella and Chewy's raw diet as his brother Chase.
Gladys had a very big job to do, and she has done it quite well. In the Fall of 2009, my mom asked me to go look at this little dog that was in a foster home. She was looking for a new friend after losing Jasmine that summer. We drove the 2 hours to meet Gladys and it was love at first site. Gladys is a little firecracker: don’t let the name fool you! She can hold her own and she does it well as she plays with every kind of dog imaginable. She is a sweet as can be and loves to play with her pals Chase and Trix. She has been the perfect little companion for my mom, and anytime Kathy is working, you are sure to find Gladys there with her.
Jasmine or "Jazzy" as we affectionately called her, was my mom’s Golden until she joined her pal Bailey at the Rainbow Bridge in July of 2009. She was one of the original three Goldens to work at Hot Diggity. Her beautiful portrait-style photo continues to hang above the collars in Hot Diggity, where her sweet face brings smiles to all who see it.
Bailey, our beloved Golden whom without there would be no Hot Diggity. We lost Bailey in August of 2008 at the age of 13.5 to hemangeosarcoma. He was a once in a lifetime dog who will forever hold a huge place in our hearts.
A sweet and loyal companion to our first manager, Jess.
Cassie crossed the Rainbow Bridge in June of 2008 and is often remembered by customers whose hearts she touched while working at Hot Diggity.
